SECURITY
Sectional garage doors are by far the most secure option for your garage. 40mm thick insulated steel panels lock solidly in place when the door closes.
The door is pulled open and pushed close by a boom arm attached to a moving carriage on the belt drive motor rail. This system features a security fail-safe locking mechanism that locks the carriage solid in the rail should any external force be applied to the door.
Unlike thinner single-skin steel doors and roller garage doors a sectional garage door is virtually impenetrable to a would-be attacker. Heavy-duty power tools (and a lot of noise and commotion!) would certainly be required to penetrate the door in order to gain entry inside.
For additional security, a manual locking handle can also be applied to upgrade the door to a dual locking system, the resistive force of the power motor supported by a physical bolt lock mechanism able to withstand immense force.
CONTROLS
All our sectional garage doors are electric, which means that they can be operated with the push of a button from the 2 remotes provided. For security, the remote control cannot be cloned.
Sectional doors use electric drives of the overhead type. The drive with power rod is adjusted directly under the ceiling. Sectional doors are actuated via the belt (chain) located in the power rod. The system includes a manual override which release the panels from the motor drive.
It is worth noting the full automatic stop in contact with an obstacle. The drive will not move the panels, they will remain in the closed position.

Wicket doors can be a great option when the garage door is the only point of access to the garage. The wicket door allows easy entry without the need to open the whole garage door. Integrated contact sensors inside the door panels prevent the door motor from operating while the wicket door is open. Then the wicket door is closed the whole garage door can open normally.
PASS DOORS
Constructed from the same 40mm insulated panels as the sectional door matching personnel pass doors are a great addition for when a secondary access door needs to match the finished design of your Sectional Garage door.
The 40mm insulated door panels also ensure you do not surrender the insulation benefits gained from installing an insulated sectional door through an uninsulated pass door.
